Solicitation is for the maintenance dredging of the Isle of Wight Bay, Ocean City, Maryland. Work consists of maintenance dredging of a federal navigation channel using a hydraulic pipeline dredge. Approximately 35,000 cubic yards of dredged material to a depth of 6 feet plus 2 feet of overdepth will be removed and placed along the beach at 33rd Street via a storm drain traversing the island at 33rd Street. The material will be shaped like a dune along the existing dune line. Dredged material consists primarily of silt, sand, gravel and shell. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency.
