Z -- HEAT TRACING AND INSULATION FOR DEIONIZED WATER PIPING SYSTEMS SOL 13672 POC Bob Foye, 419-621-3201 The work entails the installation of aluminum jacketed fiberglass pipe insulation and electric heat tracing for the following pipe sizes and approximate footages: 160 ft. of 1" schedule 80 PVC (1" thick); 600 ft. of 6" schedule 80 PVC (2" thick); 250 ft. of 8" schedule 80 PVC (2" thick); 200 ft. of 6" schedule 10S stainless (2" thick); 60 ft. of 8" schedule 10S stainless (2" thick). The heat tracing is to be 110V or 208V. The contractor is to determine the required wattage per foot to prevent the freezing of the pipes. This work is to be performed at NASA's Plum Brook Station, Sandusky, OH. A site showing/walk-through will be held for all interested parties on Tuesday, December 15, 1998 at 1:30 P.M. E.S.T.
