SIC 1799 Hazardous Materials & Construction Term Contract in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. Two contracts will be solicited with this one announcement; the first in Western Region 10 serving Washington and Oregon west of the Cascades; and the second is Eastern Region 10 serving Idaho along with Washington and Oregon east of the Cascades. Historically this type of Contract has total work estimated between $100,000 to $250,000 per area per year, with average work orders ranging between $10,000 to $50,000. Contractors may bid either area or both. Key Firms must have an existing active construction office within the geographical area bid. Key Firms is defined as those contractor(s) who will provide asbestos abatement and general construction. The object of the selection is to choose an excellent quality Hazardous Materials Abatement and General Construction Contractor supported by successful experienced and highly qualified personnel, who can provide the work at the most economical prices. Bids may be made by s single qualified Contractor, a Contractor/Subcontractor arrangement, or Joint Venture. Primary Services under this contract include Hazardous Material Abatement, General Construction, and General Construction in areas containing hazardous materials. Work items are not limited to asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, hazardous area containment, spot abatement, demolition, insulation, fireproofing, and general construction including partitions, doors, finishes, HVAC distribution, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and reconfiguration of fire alarm & sprinklers. Experienced Key Contractor personnel include Construction Project Manager, Construction Superintendent, and AHERA accredited Supervisor, and AHERA accredited Project Designer.Contract will be awarded using Source Selection procedures. Evaluation Criteria in relative order of importance: (1) Team Qualifications & Experience, (4) Past Quality Performance, (2) Key Personnel, and (3) Organization.
