This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3827. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with DFAR 252.210-7000. These are helmet mounts for a Litton EOS manufactured binocular AN/PVS-15. The requirement is for 2 line items as follows: line 0001; 61 each SPH-5CG Helmet Mount P/N 0241959-100, 0002; 60 each RBR Helmet Mount P/N 0241960-002. The required delivery date is 28 February 1999 and partial shipment will be accepted. The award will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Quotations are being solicited on full and open competition bases. Shipping terms will be FOB destination.
