65 -- CUSTOM PERFUSION TUBING PACK WITH BLOOD PUMP SOL 671-32-99 DUE 011999 POC Antonio Arriaga, Contract Specialist, 210-617-5149 This facility intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price requirements contract with Medtronic Cardio Pulmonary, to provide custom perfusion tubing packs with BP-80 blood pump. This type of procurement is authorized under the Federeral Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. This requirement is unique, in the sense that this hospital own the heart-lung machines that have the Bio-Medicus drive module to operate and accommodate only the BP-80 Blood Pump. The Bio-Medicus blood pump is owned by Medtronic and meets our specifications. Medtronic will assemble and sterilize the tubing and blood pump, the end product will be a sterilized package.
