synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued.This procurement is being conducted
under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).Description and
Quantities: Item 1: 1 Each -- BRUEL & KJAER MODEL 9804-2090 CALIBRATION
SYSTEM, OR EQUAL, THAT MEETS OR EXCEEDS THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:
1. MUST PROVIDE SENSITIVITY CALIBRATION FOR B&K 1/2" & 1/4" MICS,
MINIMUM. 2. MUST PROVIDE FREQUENCY RESPONSE CALIBRATION FOR B&K 1",
1/2", 1/4" MICS WITH 1/12 OCTAVE CORRECTION FOR FALCON SERIES AND
1/3OCTAVE FOR OTHERS. 3. SYSTEM MUST BE COMPLETE AND STAND-ALONE EXCEPT
FOR UTILIZATION OF EXISTING B&K 2133 ACOUSTIC ANALYZER. ALL
REQUIREDAUTOSEQUENCES AND HARDWARE MUST BE INCLUDED. 4. SYSTEM MUST BE
CAPABLE OF CALCULATING FREE-FIELD AND RANDOM RESPONSE OF ALL EXISTING
B&K MICROPHONES. 5. SYSTEM MUST CONTAIN REQUIRED MACROS FOR PRINTING
CALIBRATION CHARTS FROM MICROSOFT EXCEL USING STORED CALIBRATION DATA.
6. SYSTEM MUST PROVIDE FOR ALL UNCERTAINTY CALCULATIONS ANDCORRECTIONS
FOR ALL EXISTING B&K MICROPHONES. 7. SYSTEM MUST INCLUDE TWO 1/2"
REFERENCE STANDARD MICS, TWO 1/2" PREAMPS, ONE 1/4" PREAMP AND ALL
NECESSARY ADAPTERS AND ELECTROSTATIC ACTUATORS TO ACCOMMODATE ALL
EXISTING B&K MICROPHONES. 8. SYSTEM MUST INCLUDE ALL NECESSARY
ACCESSORIES AND CABLES AND INSTALLATION OF ALL COMPONENTS. 9. OPERATOR
INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE INCLUDED ALONG WITH THE REQUIRED TRAINING.Item 2:
B&K MODEL 4180, 1/2" REFERENCE STANDARD MICROPHONE TO BE USED AS
CALIBRATION SPARE.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in
effect throughFAC 97-09.This procurement is a total small business
set-aside. See Note 1The SIC code and the small business size standard
for this procurement are 3825 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall
state in their quotation their size status for this procurement.All
qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which
shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to MSFC is required within
15 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for
this procurement is DO-C9.Quotations for the items(s) described above
may be mailed or faxed to the identified point of contact, by the
date/time specified and include, solicitation number, FOB destination
to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms,
warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number(TIN),
identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an
authorized company representative. Quoters are encouraged to use the
Standard Form 1449, solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items

submit aquotation.Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR
52.212-1.Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 are as follows: MSFC 52.211-90,MSFC
52.232-90, NFS 1852.246-71, FAR 52.204-4, 52.204-4, 52.211-15 and
52.247-34.If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end
product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act --
Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of
origin.The Representations and Certifications required by FAR 52.2l2-3

attention of the primary point of contact.Selection and award will be
made (on an aggregate basis) to the lowest priced, technically
acceptable quoter. Technicalacceptability will be determined by
information submitted by the quoter providing a description in
sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the
Government's requirement.Quoters must provide copies of the provision
at 52.212-3, OfferorRepresentation and Certifications -- Commercial
