Specialist, 202-690-5552 The Office of the Assistant Secretary for
Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) seeks qualified offerors to provide ASPE
with the capability to execute, on an as-needed basis, quick turnaround
policy assessments regarding issues in the area of services to
children, youth and their families. Typical areas of service include
child care, child development, child health, child mental health, child
welfare service, substitute care systems, services to youth, and
comprehensive service systems for children, youth and their families.
This contract emphasizes policy-oriented research and evaluation
studies over management-oriented studies. Issuance of the solicitation
will be approximately 15 days from the date this notice is published
in the CBD. The basic period of performance is 12 months with two 12
month options. Although the exact response date will be announced in
the RFP, the government anticipates allowing offerors 30 days to
respond. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a
contract. Thegovernment reserves the right to select a single offeror,
or more than one offeror for award. All proposals from responsible
sources will be considered. Requests for the solicitation must be made
