The Clearwater and Nez Perce National Forests intend to procure professional land surveying services on an as-needed individual order basis for field seasons 1999, 2000, and 2001. Work consists of dependent resurvey, posting of boundary, monumenting and platting of National Forest Systems land. Work will be done to the standards set in R-1 Cadastral Survey Contract Specifications 3/87. Projects may include the Rectangular Survey System, Mineral Surveys Homestead Entry Surveys and maintenance of existing forest boundaries. There is no solicitation package to request; submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 by January 8, 1999, to the Clearwater National Forest. Firms will be selected by applying the following criteria: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services (include the percentage of time that key individuals will devote to this project). 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. 3)Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time (include information as to the firm's current and projected workload and its capability to accomplish this project). 4) Past performance on contracts with Government Agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules. 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project.
