R -- SUPPORT PHARMACEUTICAL CARE TO BPHC FUNDED SITES SOL HRSA-99-BPHC-A248378 DUE 121898 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Ms. Terri Smith Moore, 3537 Marlborough Way, College Park, Maryland 20740. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to support and develop the provision of pharmaceutical care to Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) funded sites. The contractor shall: critique ongoing national efforts involved with the management, training, evaluation and assessment of pharmaceutical care strategies, programs and efforts; link established or developing programs of pharmaceutical care that can apply the knowledge and program capability to BPHC funded sites in their diversity of settings and clinical efforts; develop a strategy, implementation plan and evaluation plan for implementing a system of pharmaceutical care within all funded BPHC sites; and prepare a final report of all project activities. Ms. Terri Smith Moore is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
