C -- ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR PRESIDIO RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES DUE 121498 POC Linda Wong (415) 561-5352 The Presidio Trust is soliciting statements of qualifications from architectural firms for the rehabilitation of residential properties at the Presidio of San Francisco. Scope of work to be contracted includes the full range of typical architectural and engineering services including feasibility studies, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction supervision and close-out. Affiliated disciplines might include landscape architecture, structural, mechanical and civil engineering as part of the architectural team. Through this Request for Qualification (RFQ) process, the Presidio Trust will pre-qualify one or more architectural firms with a demonstrated and successful track record in building rehabilitation, particularly with residential and historically significant buildings. Statement of Qualifications will be evaluated based upon the criteria set forth in the RFQ issued November 30, 1998. All submittals are due no later than 5:00PM, December 14, 1998 and will be reviewedand evaluated. A selected short list of candidates will be notified on December 18, 1998 and interviewed on January 6, 1999. The Presidio Trust requests that representatives of the entire architectural team be present at the interviews. The architectural team is expected to make a brief presentation followed by questions and answers. The Presidio Trust will pre-qualify one or more teams. Notification of the final selections will be made by January 8, 1999 and immediately thereafter, The Presidio Trust will begin contract negotiation and defining a scope of work with only one of the architectural firms.
