SIMULATION (JAWS) Announcing the Joint Aerospace Weapon Systems
Support, Sensors, and Simulation Symposium & Exhibition (JAWS S3) '99
to be held at the Radisson Hotel -- Mission Valley in San Diego,
California, June 13-17 1999. This year's theme is "Making Information
Work for the Warfighter". The JAWS S3 name has evolved slightly to
broaden our horizons and more accurately reflect the audience and
papers we have historically attracted. There is also a new web page
address where up to date information will be posted;
www.jawswg.hill.af.mil. There is also a new management team from the
USAF Software Technology Support Center (STSC). Mr James O'Bryon,
Deputy Director, Operational Test & Evaluation/Live Fire Test &
Evaluation, Office of the Secretary of Defense returns as a sponsor. We
continue to receive the sponsorship of the USAF Embedded Computer
Resources Support Improvement Program (ESIP) as well as the Joint
Services. The Joint Avionics Brief to Industry will also be
incorporated into this Symposium again this year. All of the specifics
will be posted on the web page as soon as technically possible. TO BE
CONSIDERED,for Presentations and/or Tutorials, UNCLASSIFIED abstracts
based on one or more of the above areas, and consisting of 200 words
or less, must be received by January 22, 1999. All abstracts and author
information pages, must be in MS Word or compatible format. All
abstracts must be approved for public release. All UNCLASSIFIED
presentations will be at the Radisson Hotel. CLASSIFIED papers will be
handled separately and reserved for the classified session taking
place at SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC), San Diego. You must indicate on
your initial unclassified submission if you prefer to prepare a
classified presentation. SUBMIT YOUR UNCLASSIFIED ABSTRACT
electronically to Lynne Wade at wadel@software.hill.af.mil/. You may

submittal package, or you can email Lynne and request the package by

to display its products and/or services at this event. Each 10'x10'
booth space is equipped with draped back and side walls, 6' draped
table, ID Sign, two chairs and a wastebasket. Exhibits will be located
adjacent to the meeting area in a special pavilion designed to meet
exhibitors' requirements including: flooring and covering, general
lighting, air-conditioning and access to power. The program agenda will
be structured to maximize viewing time for the conference attendees.
Reserve your booth early to save $200 on the booth fees -- The cost per
booth is $1,800 for Corporate Members of NDIA and $2,500 for
Non-Corporate Members if payment is received by February 26, 1999.
Booth prices will increase by $200 for reservations and payments
received after February 26. In addition to the furniture package, the
booth fee also includes two full conference registrations. Up to two
additional people per 10'x10' space may register at a special reduced
exhibitor rate. A form will be included in your service kit to register
