The Naval Air Warfare Center -- Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD announces its intentions to procure, on a sole source basis, systems engineering, technical and programmatic support, operational employment /effectiveness assessments, operational test and evaluation assistance services for the Air ASW, Assault & Special Mission Programs (PMA 299). PMA 299 is the lead department for the Ku Band data link frequency migration, airborne ALQ-210 Electronic Support Measurement engineering analysis and integration compatibility issues with the shipboard Advanced Integrated Electronic Warfare System, and the Light Airborne Multi-Purpose System helicopter. The engineering and technical support services will be procured on a sole source basis from Computer Systems Center Incorporated, Springfield, VA utilizing a Time & Material type contract. The period of performance is estimated at one (1) base period plus four (4) option periods commencing on or about 15 January 1999.
