A pre-solicitation conference for the procurement of renewable power to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9 Laboratory will be held on December 17, 1998, at the Laboratory's Building No. 201 located at 1337 South 46th Street, Richmond, CA 94804. Registration will be from 0830 to 0845. The Environmental Protection Agency will host the conference. The conference will begin promptly at 0900 and will be concluded at 1200. The purpose of this conference is to provide attendees with a more thorough understanding of the requirements associated with the EPA's efforts to procure renewable power as described in draft RFP GS-00P-99-BSD-0117. The draft RFP will be available for downloading from the General Services Administration's Website at http://www.gsa.gov/pbs/xu/puindex.htm one week prior to the conference. The EPA is seeking an orreror/partner electric service provider who will be capable of providing 100% renewable electricity service to their Regional Laboratory in Richmond, California in accordance with the standard and conditions of service established by the Green-e brand name. Attendance at this conference is encouraged, but not mandatory for further participation in this procurement effort. There is no registration fee. All expenses incurred by participants as a result of attending this conference will be borne by the participant. Signs will be posted in the main lobby of the Laboratory giving directions to the room in which the conference will be held.
