The USDA Agricultural Research Service in Pullman, WA has a requirement for an upgrade to our existing greenhouse plant oriented control system for Y2K compliance. Any solicitation must be compatible with existing equipment manufactured by Olgevee Computer Systems in 1984 and must be able to supply data and control capabilities compatible with what is supplied with the existing equipment. The contractor will provide an upgrade of all sensors, replace all output relays, replace input & output HCP cards, replace UPS on main computer, replace user computer, replace greenhouse processor and upgrade all software. Supplies(or Services) required are available from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. The Government intends on negotiating with the only known responsible source, Oglevee Computer Systems, Inc. A solicitation is not available for this notice.
