Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-8506 The objective of this effort is dismantle/demolish buildings 818, 1148, 1495, 604, and 604a located at the former chemical weapons production facility at Volgograd, Russia. Work to be performed under the effort does not include site remediation operations for the elimination of environmental hazards resulting from prior chemical agent or other chemical processing operations within the confines of the facility. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency plans to issue a sole source contract to the Joint Stock Company (OAO) Khimprom. DTRA believes that Khimprom is the only source able to perform this effort. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform the requirement. See Note 22 (substitute fifteen (15) days in lieu of forty-five (45) days.
