This procurement is being issued under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is further restricted to Emerging Small Business (Business whose annual average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years is less than $1.5 million). Provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required for the design of Project No. 622-99-103, SPD Ventiliation at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Design work is to include preliminary plan options, design development, working drawings, estimates, and contract specifications to install an independent air conditioning unit with tracking exhaust to supply both the soiled and sterile rooms in SPD located in the ground floor of building 1. This unit will be capable enough to cool the soiled room and maintain a negative pressure and also cool the sterile room and maintain a positive pressure. The reheat boxes for these rooms will be placed where there is easy access to maintain and adjust controls. Project will require evaluation and recommendations for E.T.O. sterilizers exhaust. Architectural, Mechanical & Electrical design discipline is required. Evaluation criteria will be as follows: 1) Specialized experience of the firm with the type of work required. 2) Capacity of the firm to perform the work within the time limitations. 3) Past record of performance on contracts with Government agencies. 4) Familiar with the area in which the project is located. 5) Geographic location and facilities of the working office.
