Videoconferencing System Requirements 1.The vendor must have and
provide a fully developed Small Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
management tool/software product for Videoconferencing system set-up,
maintenance and diagnostics. 2.The Videoconferencing Codec must be
configured and operate at a minimum of 30 frames per second/768Kbps
line transmission rate. 3.The Videoconferencing Codec transmission line
interface shall be RS-449. 4.The Videoconferencing Codec must have ITU
Standards based capability and support:H.320, G.711, G.722, G.728
H.221, H.230, H.242, H.243, H.261, H.281 H.263 is a preferred
capability, but will accept former H.261 if H.263 being currently
developed. 5.The Videoconferencing package ("room system") must have
full T-120 capability fully integrated and self contained without the
need for an external computer. 6.The CODEC platform, if Disk Drive
based, A. Must have a front panel access, removable hard disk drive. B.
Each Codec or Videoconferencing system must include a second disk
drive. The second disk drive shall be fully formatted with the
operating system software fully loaded. 7.The Videoconferencing Codec
shall provide standard analog audio input and output levels of "0dBV".
8.Each Videoconferencing system shall be equipped with a VHS type
videocassette recorder, fully integrated into the VTC package. 9.Each
Videoconferencing system shall be equipped with two monitors. Each
monitor shall be a minimum of 32" diagonal measure. 10.Required
Available Options. Options may be specified for some but not all
Videoconferencing systems: Document stand and camera Interactive
whiteboard Multipoint chair control Phone add on, telephone interface
11.Vendor shall specify a trade-in program, if any, for existing
codecs. 12. Interested parties should submit information explaining
their capabilities to perform the above. Based on the submittals, a
technical review will be conducted to determine who will be issued a
