The Government intends to establish a Not To Exceed (NTE) contract for
essential repair of the Indicator Unit (IU) and Electronic Unit (EU),
components of the USAF F-16 A/B radar Electrical Optical (REO) Display
Unit. Work shall be accomplish IAW Appendices A and C of the basic
contract. Item 0001 REO Indicator Unit, NSN: 5841-01-096-3945WF, P/N:
29200-99, 14 each. Item 0002 REO Electronic Unit, NSN:
5841-01-096-4833WF, P/N: 29500-109, 8 each. To include all required
reports and data. The contractor shall provide all labor and other
parts/materials and equipment to accomplish this effort. Delivery: 30
days after receipt of reparable end item or funded order, whichever is
later. Destn: TBD Contractor is the only known source capable of
meeting this requirement. The approximate issue/response date will be
28 DEC 1998. The anticipated award date will be 19 Jan 1999. Written
procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: International

acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid,
proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is suggested that
small business firms or others interested in subcontracting
opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact

reference the entire solicitation number, including purchasing office
identification number. To expedite your request, limit the number of
individual solicitation numbers requested per letter to not more than
10. Don't request information on this requirement until after the issue
date. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or
potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this
acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the
authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to
communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and
recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When
requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the
source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the
evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested
