The Contractor shall work in the Strategy and Program Support Office under the supervision of the SPS Office Director. The Contractor shall coordinate with SO and RP team leaders, and with other SPS staff to assure the following responsibilities are effectively carried out. The Office Director will assign the PDS to serve on two or more Results Package and or Strategic Objective teams -- depending on the needs of the Mission, and the experience and ability of the incumbent. A primary function of the PDS will be to assist these teams in carrying out the critical activity planning and achieving responsibilities listed below. The specific responsibilities listed below are responsibilities of the entire SO RP team. Hence the PDS will need to be able to function effectively as a team member, in a relatively horizontal rather than vertical organizational structure. He she will need to become a helpful and proactive member of the SO RP teams, providing guidance and direction to the team(s) on strategic and activity- level planning, project implementation and budgeting, and on performance monitoring and evaluation.
