Ohio, has a requirement for spcialized scientific, technical and
managerial capabilities that are required to support the Air Force
Research Laboratory's Optical Radar/EO Sensor Test Facility (OREOS).
This facility is located in Bldg 622, Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH,
and consists of infrared, laser radar, beam steering and optical
research laboraotoes. The OREOS Test Facility serves as a tool of the
Air Force and other DoD agencies for the development and experimental
testing of laser radars, infrared sensors, image processors, algorithm
development, non-mechanical beam steering investigations. In addition,
a need for upgrading the facility capabilities through the design,
fabrication and testing of new instrumentation, equipment hardware, and
data processing systems shall be accomplished under this contract. Such
developmental activities shall be required for individual exploratory
development testing and measurement programs as well as for long-term
facility improvement. Period of performance is 1 Oct 1999 through 30
Sep 2000 with four one-year options. This procurement is unrestricted.

date of issuance is 19 January 1999. No hard copies will be issued.
