for Western Archeological and Conservation Center, a Division of the
National Park Service located in TUcson, AZ. Work is to develop
archeological research design for Northwest Utah and surrounding areas.
Work includes the research, design, preparation, review, coordination
and publication of archeological research design for a significant
portion of the Eastern Great Basin for the temporal period 12,000 to
present. This regional archeological research design will be used by
the government to provide a foundation for and the rationale to support
assessments for determinations of eligibility of all documented sites
for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places, primarily
under criterions d(36CFR60). Government is requesting that written
proposals be submitted. Proposals will be evaluated based primarily on
the following: 1 -- demonstrated knowledge and experience in
researching, designing, writing and publishing regional-scale research
designs in the American West 2 -- demonstrated knowledge of,
experience working in, and the production of professional quality
reports involving Eastern Great Basin archeological resources from both
the prehistoric and historical periods 3 -- demonstrated ability and
track record in meeting original contract delivery dates 4 --
demonstrated ability and experience in creating research designs that
encompass both prehistoric and historical-period cultural resources 5
-- cost 6 -- demonstrated ability and experience in producing
professional documents through an iterative multi-Federal and State
agency review and comment process. Work is to be preformed in four
phases; total contract time for all four phases is 240 calendar days.
This project is set aside for small business. One award will be made
using simplified acquisition procedures based on best value to the
