TVA plans to award one or more contracts for the performance of engineering, interior design, drafting (CAD operators and technicians), project management, and other technical support services for TVA's fossil and hydro and nuclear power generating plants, transmission planning organization, and other techncial organizations within TVA, to supplement in-house resources. The contract(s) is intended to augment TVA staff. Duration of the base contract will be three years, and the contract may provide for options beyond the base period. No minimum work is guaranteed. TVA desires to select a firm that has a history of successful and diverse experience supplying qualified personnel in engineering, interior design, drafting, and other technical support services. TVA has certain minimum mandatory qualification requirements that Offerors must meet before being considered: (1) Must have available personnel capable of meeting a wide variety of technical service needs. Must be able to provide up to 150 engineering/technical service personnel. Please provide information concerning the number of resumes maintained on file in the areas of performance listed above. Also document your firm's ability to provide resources to simultaneous outages occurring at several different sites across a seven-state region. (2) Desirable to now have or have had within the last three years a contract to provide engineering and technical services personnel for a major company. Provide information concerning current contracts or projects in which you are involved for similar work as identified in this notice. Document any experience in providing personnel to nuclear plants. (3) Must have available personnel experienced in the use of computer-aided design/engineering (CAD/CAE) systems and have the ability to work in current TVA CAD/CAE format (AutoCad). (4) Provide evidence of willingness and capability to maintain an office in the Tennessee Valley region since all services provided under the proposed contract will be performed at a TVA site. (5) Provide statement, with supporting documentation such as financial reports, and indicate financial stability and responsibilities of your firm. The documentation should be concise and easy to understand. (6) Submit three to five references from companies for whom you have provided services as described herein. (7) If applicable, provide proof of designation as a small, disadvantaged, minority-owned, or woman-owned busines.
