The Solicitation Number is hereby changed to DTCGG1-99-R-3WK036.
Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, disposal,
transportation and supervision necessary for Maintenance Dredging of
Entrance Channel at USCG Station Eatons Neck, Northport, NY (Nassau
County). The work includes pre-dredge hydrographic survey of the
channel; hydraulic or bucket dredging of approximately 7000 CY of
course sand; post dredge hydrographic survey of the channel and
incidental related work. Estimated cost of this work is between
$100,000 and $250,000. The Contractor shall perform work in accordance
with the dredging permit; dredging is permitted from 01 March 1999
through 14 March 1999. SIC Code 1629 applies. The solicitation package
will be issued as a Request for Proposal, not a Request for Quotation.
MARINE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS WORK. Evaluation factors
