This solicitation will result in a Requirements Type Contract for 435 NSN'S (approximately) in FSC 4240 (Respiration Equipment). These items are sole-source to Minnesota Mining & Mfg. (3M) Co. due to NIOSH approval. Supplies will be purchased through Electronic Commerce (EC) for either depot delivery or direct delivery to customers. Duration of the contract will be one (1) year plus four (4) option years. Delivery will be required 30 days after receipt of delivery order. See Note 22: Only one intended source -- other thanm full and open competition. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available from, and cannot be furnished by, the Government. All responsible sources, including 3M Co. and its authorized distributors, may submit offers which DSCP will consider. This acquisition is for 3M commercial respiration items which have been assigned National Stock Numbers (NSN's).
