The Government intends to solicit Raytheon Co. in Marlborough, MA to incorporate DAMA capability into the Secure Mobile Anti-jam Reliable Tactical Terminal (SMART-T). The contractor will be resposible for both incorporating DAMA into the production baseline and retrofitting SMART-T Low Rate Initial Production terminals to the DAMA configuration. Requirements also include performance/environmental testing, submittal of a full logistics support package and a five-year failure free warranty. Award will be placed as a firm-fixed-price modification to Contract No. DAAB07-96-C-A757. This action will be processed on a sole souce basis IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(1) and 10 USC 2304 (c), however all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
