entitled Support to the Joint U.S./Russian Optimization of the
Two-Stage Destruction Process for Organophosphorus Agents. The Defense
Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement for 6-months of
additional work on the Support to the Joint U.S./Russian Optimization
of the Two-Stage Destruction Process for Organophosphorus Agents
contract. Contractor will: a)provide a more in-depth analysis of the
FD-4M in order to characterize the RD-4M mixture; b)conduct joint
experiments to demonstrate the synthesis; and c)validate the efficacy
of VX destruction using the RD-4M produced. This effort will also
include support to chronic toxicological testing, identified during
toxicological studies of the basic contract, and QA oversight of the
Russian institutes during the conduct of testing. DTRA plans to award
the additional work to the current contractor, Battelle Memorial
Institute, 505 King Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201. All inquiries must be
