General Services Administration Procurement Networking Session
Announcement for the Millennia Acquisition Solicitation TFF-99-200 In
a continuing effort to enhance the General Services Administration
(GSA) procurement opportunities for small, small disadvantaged, and
women-owned small businesses, the Office of Enterprise Development
(OED), in conjunction with the Federal Technology Service Computer
Acquisition Center (FEDCAC), will be conducting a procurement
networking session under the Millennia Acquisition (Millennia),
Solicitation Number GSC-TFF-99-200. The Millennia Acquisition will
require support in three functional areas: Systems Integration,
Communications, and Software Engineering. Millennia will provide $25
billion worth of procurement opportunities to multiple contractors who
will be required to team and subcontract with various small, small
disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses in order to
successfully compete for the acquisition and perform the work to be let
under the contracts. The networking session will allow potential prime
contractors, large, small, small disadvantaged, and women-owned small
businesses the opportunity to come together and exchange business
interests with the hope of establishing a contracting relationship for
Millennia. To provide the maximum opportunity for small businesses to
participate and receive award consideration for this acquisition, the
Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 7379.
The Millennia Acquisition is subject to the Small Disadvantaged
Business Price Evaluation Adjustment factor. To ensure that the
potential prime contractors and the interested large and small business
representatives have effective communications for establishing
partnerships, teaming arrangements or subcontracting agreements, only
the first 150 firms to register will be allowed to participate in this
networking session. All interested participants are encouraged to

scheduled for 9:00am to 12:00pm, January 5, 1999 at the J. W. Marriott
Hotel at National Place, Salon D, 331 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW,
Washington, DC 20004-1796, Telephone (202) 393-2000. All businesses
wishing to participate in the networking session should register via
Internet at Ernest.Woodson@gsa.gov no later than close of business
December 30, 1998. Any firm (large or small) planning to compete as a
prime contractor, interested in making a presentation at the networking
session should contact Ernest Woodson at (202) 501-1400 by close of
business December 30, 1998 (no other phone calls will be accepted). All
interested firms are notified that this networking session is not a
"Pre-Proposal Conference" and that no technical questions regarding the
