To accommodate chiller replacement, the Mechanical Room (Room 167) needs extensive reworking to include relocating equipment within the room, piping/equipment demolition, and repiping of chilled water/condenser water piping with new pumps, expansion tank, air separator, and other associated equipment. Outside the Mechanical Room, six steam unit heaters which heat the two hangar bays require replacement with minor repiping. In addition, the 17 air handling units located throughout Building 131 which have recently had a new DDC system installed require linking via a new N2 Bus System with Network Control Unit and incidental related work.
