The Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area Office is requesting proposals for the installation of new burners for two existing boilers at the North Central Soil Conservation Research Laboratory in Morris, Minnesota. Each of the two boilers is nominally rated at 120 HP and uses both gas and number 2 fuel oil. Project will include any peripheral items, i.e. controls, wiring, etc. necessary for the operation of the new burners. We intend to issue a split notice to proceed. Notice one will authorize the ordering of materials, notice two will be issued in the Spring when weather permits on-site performance. Solicitation packages will be mailed on or about 1/14/99.
