Powell, Contracting Officer, (202) 324-3318 The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate a sole source firm-fixed price contract with Mancom Manufacturing Incorporated, Buffalo, New York, to provide a Touch Plus Target Retrieval System. This system consists of, but is not limited, to a carrier track; target carrier (capable of rotating 360 degrees or more); and a System master control console (PLC or PC based). Based on market research, it has been determined that Mancom Manufacturing, Incorporated's system is the only system that will absorb the impact of the daily use of indoor firing lanes for both tour demonstrations and indoor agent qualification courses. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals to this office by 2:00 PM, EST, 01/04/98. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 12.6.
