The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to explore the

the H-60 aircraft. Under the PVS concept the contractor will provide
the following supplies and services: Depot repair of airframe and
dynamic components, avionics, and propulsion systems; configuration
management, forecasting and procurement of supply requirements in
support of Depot repair; material replenishment, configuration
management, inventory control, and distribution of all airframe,
propulsion, and avionics components to meet Fleet needs; on-site
technical assistance to provide management, training, and coordination
between Organizational/Intermediate and Depot level activities;
support readiness improvements through analysis of consumption rates,
turn-around maintenance times, and material deficiencies; and
information management. NAVAIR desires to be briefed by contractors on
this subject. The brief should include a discussion of the benefits
and feasibility of an H-60 PVS approach with the overall goal of
reducing life cycle costs. Companies should express an interest no
