(RFP), #RFP -C-1F011 will be available on or about December 28, 1998.
Amendment #2 is a complete revision of the solicitation for the Branch
Avenue Storage Yard. Technical and Price Proposals are desired for the
construction of the above ground subway rail car storage yard
including sitework, buildings and shop equipment, trackwork and
ballast, landscaping, traction power, communications, train control and
system integration. Designs for the traction power, communications and
train control are not final and will require completion by the
Contractor. The resulting contract will be competitively negotiated.
Estimated price is $50,000,000 to $70,000,000. Contract duration is
1,080 CDs. Proposals are due before 2:00 PM on February 19, 1999. A
pre-proposal conference will be held January 19, 1999 at 10 AM in the
Jackson Graham Bldg. Meeting Rm., on the Lobby Level at 600 Fifth St.
