This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR Clause 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as from large business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Installation of approximately 800 of new 6" PVC water mains, approximately 210 linear feet of 10 inch steel casing (bored and Jacked), approximately 15 feet of ductile iron hydrant leg piping, a fire hydrant, and associated gate valves, fittings, etc, repair of asphalt paving, testing and surveying, as required, installation of erosion control measures and airfield FOD fencing, installation of 6" PVC piping, unclassified excavation, and barrow material and backfill and seeding. The performance period is approximately 42 calendar days. Solicitations will be available on or about 28 Dec 98.
