AFMLO/VA Special Services Division requires an intra oral camera system
intended to assist dentist in diagnosing and demonstrating intra-oral
problems to patients. The requirements include the camera with docking
station, computer, monitor, cart and software, as manufactured by New
Image identified as the Acucam Concept III or equal. The proposed
system shall have proven technology and is required to be FDA approved.
The government guarantees as a minimum the acquisition of 1 system. The
contractor shall be responsible for training user personnel in the
operation and care of the system. The training shall include, at a
minimum, actual demonstration and operation of the equipment including
adjustments. Delivery: FOB Destination 15 days ARO desired. The
contract is intended to be issued as an indefinite delivery, indefinite
quantity for the systems with two options that may be used on a
non-mandatory basis by Government activities. The Offeror shall
guarantee availability of servicing and replacementof parts for the
life expectancy of the equipment. The Offeror shall provide equipment
that is Year 2000 compliant. Year 2000 compliant as used in this part,
means, with respect to information technology, that the information
technology accurately processes date/ time data (including, but not
limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) from, into, and
between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and the years 1999
and 2000 and leap year calculations, to the extent that other
information technology, used in combination with the information
technology being acquired, properly exchanges date/time data with it.
