Specification for a new load monitoring system. The new system must be
scaeable from single user or multi-user. It should be multi-tasking &
run on Window NT 4.0 or UNIX (Solaris or AIX). The s/w and operating
system must be Y2K compliant. Report generation must be capable of
producing reports on demand, automatically or by schedule. Reports must
be user configurable. Internal data base should be capable of standard
SQL queries using popular SQL tools. Software should be capable of
real-time data collection via dial up connection & capable of dialing
at least 8 ports simultaneously from a single machine. Collected data
should be combined, processed and stored for later distribution. The
configuration should be capable of dialing and collecting interval and
register information from 40 dual meter sites within 12 minutes. It
must be capable of accessing, collecting, and processing information
from PSI Quad 4 metering. It must provide the ODBC driver software for
connecting with Sybase EnterpriseServer, Oracle 7.3.4, or ACCESS. Data
must be exportable in text, coman delimited, or Excel files. It must
operate in networked environment. The software must be capable of data
collection on demand, automatic, and by schedule in-groups or by
individual meter. It must be capable of collecting register data,
interval data, and status data from the meter. Potential offerors
should provide literature, borchures or material describing proposed
