Saint Louis, 304/636-1800, extension 265 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the construction of 4.962 miles and spot reconstruction of the Dry Run and Drift Run Timber Sale Roads, on the Cheat/Potomac Ranger District in Tucker County, West Virginia. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, excavation, temporary seeding, erosion control devices, aggregate base, concrete, furnishing and installing 18-, 24-, 30-, and 42-inch CMP (Aluminum), hand-placed riprap, seeding, and installing a road closure device (Pipe Gate). The recommended contract period is from Date of Award through September 2, 2002. The contract estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration.
