Saint Louis, 304/636-1800, extension 265 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the Blue Bend Beach Rehabilitation on the Marlinton/White Sulphur Ranger District, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The work consists of removing 278 LF of concrete retaining wall, removing and stockpiling 359 SY of flagstones, constructing 278 LF of 4-foot high concrete retaining wall, shaping the subgrade, placing 500 SY of concrete slab, and placing 500 SY of Government Furnished flagstones in a mortar bed. The recommended contract time is 100 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. It is estimated the Notice to Proceed will be issued June 1, 1999.
