Judith, RI. The work includes the following: a. Remove all existing painted wood cedar shingles and building b. Remove all windows, including basement and garage. Cupola windows to remain. c. Remove all interior and exterior window and door casing trim, window jamb, stool and apron. d. New solid white vinyl shingles. e. New solid white vinyl insulating windows and screens. f. New pine wood exterior and interior door and window casing trim, jamb stool and apron. g. New vinyl cladding over exterior door, window casing and wood sill. h. New exterior 61/2" x 61/2" traditional solid vinyl corner posts. i. New vinyl cladding of existing wood rake, porch columns, porch soffit, and all expose wood fascia boards. j. Wire brush and repaint two story fire escape, vertical ladder, and 2' cupola walkway. k. Repaint the wood porch deck floor stairs and wood railings. l. New white fiberglass insulated exterior doors, aluminum threshold and lockset. m. Paint overhead garage door. n. Nail approximately 1000 s.f. of new 3/8" gypsum drywall to existing interior plaster ceilings. Location to be determined by contracting officer. o. Plaster patch and repair approximately 200 s.f. of damage plater/drywall interior walls. p. Repair and or replace approximately 100 l.f. of separated interior wall corner beads. Completion Time is 120 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated Cost of this project is between $100,000 to $250,000.
