Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, one responsible source, the Technology Applications Office intends to make an award to Silicone Graphics (SGI) for the following Commercial Items. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.500, test program for certain commercial items and supplemented with additional information. Thi RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-02. This acquisition is unrestricted. The resultant award will be Firm-Fixed Price. There are four line items in the RFQ as follows: Item 0001, 1 each, P/N HUR-497, new or remanufactured 4xR10K with 2MB secondary cache CPU board for Challenger or Onyx systems; Item 0002, 2 each, P/N H4-256-ADD-DI, additional 256Mhz Super Dons Mom (SIMMs only) for Challenger and Onyx systems; Item 0003, 1 each, P/N PR-S-HIOSCSI new or remanufactured SCSI 210 Mhz/16 bit Differential Mezzanine card for Challenger and Onyx systems; Item 0004, Shipping charges if applicable. All items must be compatible and function with existing systems. This notice serves as the RFQ. Required delivery date is 30 days after award. Offerors shall submit a technical description of the items being offered in suffecient detail to evaluate compliance with the above specifications. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. CCR GS7070 Title Central Contractor Registration applies.
