The Forces Command, Army Atlanta Contracting Center (AACC) plans to
procure Information Technology Management Support services through
non-personal technical and analytical support services to be provided
to the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, C4 (DCSC4), other staff
organizations of HQ U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), including major
subordinate commands and installations. These support services will
provide the range of Information Technology (IT) requirements and
capabilities necessary for the Command to carry out its
responsibilities under the national military strategy of power
projection from the Continental United States (CONUS) base. Tasks are
associated with execution of FORSCOM's Power Projection C4I Master Plan
(PPC4IMP) initiative and derivative and associated tasks, the
correction of IT shortfalls and deficiencies, the development and
maintenance of Worldwide Web Home pages associated with the tasks in
this performance work statement, and quick response support of
requirements in the IT arena. AACC anticipates this acquisition to
include a base year with four additional one year options. Standard
Industrial Classification Code 8733 and Federal Service Code D399
applies. All market research and solicitation activities are
anticipated to be conducted electronically using the Internet. This
acquisition project will be carried out in two phases. Phase I will be
a market research effort, initiated by this announcement to determine
the availability of sources capable of providing the services required
as well as the acquisition approach best suited for this project. Phase
II, the acquisition phase, will be determined based on the outcome of
Phase I. Now available on the Internet at http://www.forscom.army.mil
is the Request for Information to include the draft Performance Work
Statement for this project. Interested parties must respond to the
Request for Information. Any resulting RFP will be posted on the same
website as the RFI. Anyone interested in the RFP is encouraged to
monitor the website for further information. Questions shall be
