These services will be required once weekly beginning approximatey the week of February 1, 1999 through November 30, 1999. It is anticipated a purchase order will be issued for these services which is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 8744. The Plum Island Animal Disease Center is a government owned research and diagnostic facility that studies foreign animal diseases, and is located approximately 1-1/2 miles off the eastern tip of Orient Point, Long Island, New York. This facility can only be reached by government provided marine (boat) transportation. RFQ #PIADC-9-006 contains a Statement of Work for the services required, and other information about PIADC, and will be available on or aboutJanuary 13, 1999.
