Thomas, 706-731-7176 Provide scarce medical specialist healthcare resources services for physician services in the Life Support Unit at the VA Medical Center, Downtown Division, Augusta, Georgia. The contractor will provide medical care for all patients coming to the Life Support unit during non-administrative hours. Non-administrative hours are defined as all weekdays, Monday through Friday, 5:00PM -- 7:30PM, and weekends, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays beginning on Friday at 5:00PM and continuing until Monday at 7:30AM. Contract physicians will be required to meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements to obtain an unrestricted VA appointment based on education, experience, board eligibility/certification, and licensure status.
