The workshop will establish a long term goal of reducing the volumes of hazardous waste that contain the most harmful chemicals (persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic -- PBT). EPA will hold rountable discussions with key corporate decision makers in targeted, regulated facilities in Region III. EPA intends to conduct discussions on a sole source basis with Global Futures, Sacramento, CA 95864. The contractor will develop and facilitate a Roundtable Workshop for corporate executives and acquire appropriate corporate information about the invited participants. See Numbered Note 22. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intentis not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
