A requirements contract will be awarded, with a base year and four option years. Typical services include oil and hazardous waste characterization, transportation, and recycling, treatment, or disposal. Contractors must own or operate oil or hazaradous waste treatment facilities in the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or California; own and operate oil and hazardous waste transport vehicles; maintain no less than $2,000,000 of pollution prevention insurance; have under contract a 24-hour spill response team capable of worst-case spill response; and employ hazardous waste technicians, supervisors, and general managers (professional) meeting all applicable health and safety and environmental regulations. Contractor must perform all chemical analytical testing at a laboratory meeting criteria established by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (AALA).
