S -- OIL AND HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL SOL DACW57-99-B-0001 DUE 012999 POC Contract Specialist Sandra Hillebrandt (503) 808-4615 Provide oil and hazardous waste disposal services for Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A requirements contract will be awarded, with a base year and four option years. Typical services include oil and hazardous waste characterization, transportation, and recycling, treatment, or disposal. Contractors must own or operate oil or hazaradous waste treatment facilities in the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or California; own and operate oil and hazardous waste transport vehicles; maintain no less than $2,000,000 of pollution prevention insurance; have under contract a 24-hour spill response team capable of worst-case spill response; and employ hazardous waste technicians, supervisors, and general managers (professional) meeting all applicable health and safety and environmental regulations. Contractor must perform all chemical analytical testing at a laboratory meeting criteria established by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (AALA). IFB DACW57-99-B-0001 will be available on or about December 30, 1998 at no cost. Tentative bid opening date is January 29, 1999. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. The size standard of which is a concern including all affiliates, with average sales or receipts for the preceding three years is not in excess of $6 million.
