Y -- KEYSTONE FLOATING BULKHEAD, KEYSTONE LAKE, OKLAHOMA SOL DACW56-99-B-0017 DUE 021699 POC Tammy Moreno, Contracting Division, 918-669-7462 Project consists of constructing a steel floating bulkhead with approximate dimensions 48.5' long by 24' high by 7.6' wide. The purpose of the bulkhead is to be floated into place on the upstream side of the Keystone Dam Tainter Gate(s) so that work can be performed on the gates. In addition to fabricating the bulkhead, J-seals, Pumps, Hatches, and Hoist Crane will also be installed on and in the bulkhead. The contractor shall also be responsible for launching the bulkhead into the lake and placing the bulkhead for testing prior to the Corps of Engineers taking control. The COE will provide manpower and boats to place the bulkhead under the supervision and direction of the contractor. A pre-bid conference will be held. Estimated cost range of this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 15 January 1999 and will be provided on Compact Disks (CD-ROM) free of charge. It has been determined that the number of CD-ROMs will be limited to one (1) per firm. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
