J -- MAINTENANCE OF CASS HYBRID TESTERS AND CASS ELECTRO OPTIC (EO) TESTERS SOL N68335-99-Q-0076 DUE 012699 POC Kathleen Kiley-DiPietro, Contract Specialist (732) 323-5197 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations, on a sole source basis, with Lockheed Martin Information Systems Corporation, Orlando, FL for maintenance of CASS Hybrid testers and CASS Electro Optic (EO) testers under the terms and conditions of Basic Agreement N68335-96-H-0057. Lockheed Martin is the developer and original equipment manufacturer of the CASS testers. Maintenance service will take place beginning on/about March 1999 at the Boeing/McDonnell Douglas facility in St. Louis, MO., and/or other contractor sites or their subcontractor's facility. Maintenance service will be up to 250 months of integration and up to 100 months of production support for Hybrid Block 1 and 2 Stations and EO+ Systems. Services may, on an optional basis, be extended through 2001. The government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
