This sources sought synopsis for the Primary Training Range (PTR) acquisition is to request feedback on the final DRAFT Request For Proposal (RFP) dated 23 Dec 98 and Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 15 Dec 98. The DRAFT RFP documents are posted on our web site located at:(http://public.acclog.af.mil/ cons/LGCO/Ranges/Ranges1.htm). It is the government's intent to release the formal RFP by early March 1999. At that time we will also create an official bidder's list. The PTR effort consolidates all of Air Combat Command's (ACC) 14 Electronic Scoring Sites, Bombing and Gunnery Ranges, and the Route Integrated Instrumentation System into a single contract over a 4 year phase-in period. The estimated annual value of this effort is between $15M and $17M and contract start date is 1 Oct 99. ACC CONS and ACC DOR anticipates hosting a formal site visit shortly after the release of the final RFP. The formal site visit will include a pre-proposal conference with visits to three sites we determined are most representative of the effort involved. Please refer to the web site above for details.
