The Department of Veterans Affairs, White River Jct., VT is soliciting quotations to provide 1 FTE Anesthesiologist and 2 FTE Certified Respiratory Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) for the period March 1,1999 through July 31, 1999. The solicitation number is 405-15-99. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-09. The acquisition is unrestricted. The standard industrial classification (SIC) is 7361. Requirement is to provide: 1 full time Anesthesiologist for Monday thru Friday coverage with on-call beeper coverage every third night and every third weekend; 2 full time CRNAs for Monday thru Friday coverage with on-call beeper coverage every other night and every other weekend. Services to be performed include, but are not limited to: By Anesthesiologist and Nurse Anesthetists: 1. Evaluation of patients preoperatively; 2. Administration of anesthetic agents and conduction of supportive therapy; 3. Undertake postoperative therapy referable to anesthesiology; 4. Furnish emergency call services to the VA Medical Center. Emergency call service to be defined as the availability of and provisionof all anesthesiologist services required by the VA during time periods outside of normal working hours and on weekends and holidays. By Anesthesiologist Only: 1. Furnish technical and/or professional direction of resident, physicians and nurse anesthetists employed by the VA; 2. Furnish consultations referable to anesthesiology. Evaluation factors will be based upon those stated at 52.212-2 of the electronic document.
