SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for engineering, technical and management services to accomplish design, installation and updating/maintaining of new and existing C4I systems in support of the Fleet and Joint Warfighter with an estimate of 541,456 man-hours each year. Due to frequent liaison and coordination required under the proposed contract, the successful contractor must maintain a facility within one-half hour driving of the primary places of performance, Norfolk, VA, and Charleston, SC. A Top Secret Facility Clearance is required. A Time-and-Material, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated with option provisions to extend the period of performance for four, one-year periods. Resumes will be required for the following key personnel: Program Manager, Project Manager, Computer Scientist, Consulting Engineer, Field Engineer, Sr. Electronic Engineer.
