Shaw AFB, SC seeks to identify responsible potential sources for proposed set aside for Small Business Administration 8(A) contractors in Region IV. Services provided include all labor, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to maintain the Protective Coating services. Maintenance Management: receive direct schedule job orders issued by 20 CES Production Control, maintaining current data/status on same. Inspect surfaces to be painted for acceptable condition, quantities of paint and material required. Schedule resources to accomplish all requirements. Painting by others: At the option of the government painting operations both interior and exterior by others may still be accomplished. The contract period will be for a total of five or eight years (basic period with one year options). The anticipated start date will be 1 Apr 00. This solicitation, when issued, will be IAW OMB A-76 and will not result in a contract if government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The applicable SIC code for this solicitation is 1799 and the corresponding size standard is $7 million (gross revenues averaged over the past three years).
